iPod Linux Installer for Nano
 
  If you iPod is not Nano, try Mini Installer, 5G Installer or Easy Installer.    Rockbox Installer

Download nanoipl.zip Version up at 9/03/2006:
Supports iPod Updater later than 2006-06-28.

This document explains how to install iPod Linux to Nano.

This installer has several features:


 

Usage:
 

1. Download nanoipl.zip.
   Extract the nanoipl.zip.
   There are only two files. nanoipl.exe (installer) and readme.html (this document).
   Start nanoipl.exe.

         If you do not know how to extract a zip file, read this.


 
 

2. Click "Next>"


 

If a message below comes out, make sure that your iPod is connected. Sometimes it would be a good idea to restore your iPod with iPod updater.


 
 

3. Wait a while. If "Now Installing" blinks, installation is working fine.
  Installing might take a few minutes if your PC does not support USB2. Be patient and just wait.


 
 

4. Success. Disconnect your iPod and keep pressing rewind button until iPod Linux starts.
 If any error message saying "reading error" comes out, iPod Linux may not be installed correctly. In this case, just try again.
